yeap… today (August 17th) is the Indonesian independence day. but for me it’s just an ordinary day. Woke up a little before eight, got a train to work, worked a whole day, did some groceries, bought myself a new shoes. There’s nothing special today.

every thing are back to normal. wake up early, go to work, come home late, get something to eat, watch TV and sleep. that’s my daily live. preety boring huh? yes, but that’s how live is in germany.
The last couple days before I got back to germany, was the busiest day ever. With the traffic jam all around Jakarta, I could get from one place to the other as expected. I had to canceled some appointment, mostly with relatives. They wanted to treat us to some restaurant. It’s always the same ritual… “eat till you drop”
But back to germany, it’s like “eat what you can find in the fridge”. Pretty frustrating, right? Just need to hang in here for the next couple of years, than I’ll be home for good. => that’s my plan

It’ 7am and there are lots more people than Frankfurt airport at the busiest time. And the flight is fully booked. Most of them (99%) are Indonesian.

I’m sitting in an airplane. I’m coming home after almost 3,5 year not coming home. My flight is delayed almost 30 minutes due to thunderstorm over Frankfurt! Now taxiing to the runway ready to take off.
It’s great that I downloaded this wordpress app for iPod touch. I can write this offline and send it when I’m online. Maybe there’s free WLAN in Dubai.
It’s raining out there and thunder is striking one after the other. It will be a rough flight. The captain just said we’re ready for take off. Finally… Bye bye german. See you in three and half weeks.

It’s only and couple more days! And I’ll be home after 3 years.
Direct Mail 2.6.0 was released today. Hopefully there’s no bug in there. I’m also planning to rewrite the cron script, so that it’s TYPO3 CLI conform. Let’s see when I have time for it.
It’s almost 30 deg out there and I don’t have any cold drinks
