been to lazy lately to write something here, although there’s been lot happening in the last weeks.

Ubuntu as Server [update]

So an update from my last post.

After reinstalling Ubuntu Feisty and following this howto and installing ISPconfig, I finally managed to make it run as I want. Additionally I installed Squirrelmail to get all mails. Just like in my last post, I couldn’t login using Squirrelmail. It was the same error as last time (connection dropped by IMAP server).

After having my Diploma, I don’t know what to do during this summer. The next step is the enrollment for a master degree. I decided for a Computer Science with M.Sc. degree. But till then I have about a month time.  So I decided to install Ubuntu feisty fawn on an old computer and try to make it as a webserver, email server, FTP an so on.
