for those, who are installing Apache, PHP, MySQL and the other things using macports, I got a good news.
I installed Apache2, PHP, MySQL and other using MacPorts on my Mac, just to have a local development system for my fav CMS (TYPO3). But it wasn’t as easy as I expected. The image manipulation function from TYPO3 uses imagettftext(). This function needs freetype to be installed.

I bought this SOHO NAS and it has webserver, SQL database, iTunes server, etc. With help from DynDNS.org, I can access this small box from everywhere around the world [1]. I tried to running TYPO3 on it, but it can’t… too slow and TYPO3 can’t find ImageMagick on it. So it’s useless to run TYPO3 without ImageMagick.

Hello Folks,
for those who thinks, that this blog is no longer active, you’re wrong. There are just lots happening to me in the last 2 months, that took and will take lots of my time. So I’ll just make s short post.
Direct Mail 2.5.2 is just released in TER [1]. For you who still have 2.5.1, you should update to this version, since there are some minor and major bug fixes and 2 or 3 new feature. Read changelog for more details.
To support on developing this extension, you can give me your patches, idea, or money

For those, who are interested in Direct Mail 2.5.x, you can get it from TER. It really took along time till it’s released in TER. Feedback or bug report can be emailed to me or in TYPO3 Bugtracker
